Megan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), certified NARM™ Master Therapist, and Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP). Her teachers and training are described and linked below.

  • Megan is currently a training candidate at the International School of Analytical Psychology in Zurich, Switzerland where she studies the classical concepts and attitudes of C.G. Jung. https://www.isapzurich.com/en/
  • The NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) is a somatic model for addressing attachment, relational and developmental trauma by working with the attachment patterns that cause life-long psychobiological symptoms and interpersonal difficulties. Megan is highly influenced by this model in her practice, as she sees that often developmental and relational trauma underlie other shock traumas. She is certified at the Master level and served as a teaching assistant with the NARM Training Institute for several years. https://narmtraining.com/what-is-narm
  • The Somatic Experiencing® method is a body-oriented approach to the healing of trauma and other stress disorders. The SE approach releases traumatic shock, which is key to transforming PTSD and regulating the nervous system. https://traumahealing.org/
  • CranioSacral therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. Megan was trained in CST and SomataEmotional Release (SER) at the Heartwood Institute of Integrative Medicine. While Megan does not offer hands on bodywork, the teachings and wisdom from CST influence her somatic practice. https://www.heartwoodintegrativemedicine.com/
  • Spiritual Healing work with Rev. Bonnie Bielous, Church of Tzaddi. Tzaddi is a diverse spiritual learning community, embracing people of many different spiritual backgrounds and traditions.
